About me

I write this from Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY where I have been for the past five years...having moved cross country from San Francisco, with my artist and graphic designer wife, Elizabeth Reagh and my now eight-year old son, Dylan Murthi Reagh.

I have long worked in the computer field, in a somewhat obscure database quaintly named "Pick", still kicking but with some doubts about its longevity. However, it's been good to me.

About the same time I moved to Brooklyn, I decided that the time had come to make a change, I hoped for the better, to another field of work. Having been long interested in the built environment and the way things are going well in the US (not), I decided to parlay my skills into the Green/Sustainable building area.

I have a Mechanical Engineering degree gotten from India (from a college that I find has gained considerably in prestige since I slid in there long ago) and having recently obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Planning from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, I feel well qualified to embark on my new career--Green Building Consultant.

I'm new to blogging, and still working my way into it...
